5.4L 4v Twin Turbo KitLast Updated: 8/02/10

This turbo kit we built from the ground up. We made the headers with 1 5/8" primaries and merged them into 3" collectors. We designed both headers to have maximum clearance, especially on the driver side where we had to route the primaries around the steering shaft. Both headers feed into 75mm s400 turbos and exit from dual 4" downpipes. The entire cold-side is made from aluminum piping and was TIG welded. The hardest part of the entire turbo kit was building the merge after the A/W intercoolers, we had to merge both 3" pipes into a single 4" pipe and mount the Procharger BOV while making everything look as visually symmetrical as possible (the engine is offset and clearance was a major factor). We drilled and tapped the Sullivan intake for the NOS Fogger kit, we also bent the nitrous lines. We ported the exhaust ports on the Navigator heads and installed Custom ground turbo cams. We installed the entire Aeromotive fuel system. We converted the wiring from 2v to 4v and will tune it using SCT software. We are using a SCT BA5000 MAF.
